Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Three Photograms, C.1937-39 by Theodore Roszak was auctioned at Christies in London in November 2005. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 4,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 4,200.00 (€ 6,170.33) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Theodore Roszak achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Study for "Forty-Second Street" in November 2021 with an auction result of USD 126,000.00 (€ 111,632.85).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Three Photograms, C.1937-39 von Theodore Roszak kam im November 2005 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 4.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 4.200,00 (€ 6.170,33) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Theodore Roszak erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Study for "Forty-Second Street" im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 126.000,00 (€ 111.632,85).
