Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Near Streatley Hills-on-Thames by Theodore Hines was sold in the British and Continental Pictures auction at Christies in London in October 2005. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 700.00 – 1,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 720.00 (€ 1,061.78) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Theodore Hines achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Eton College from the Thames in June 2000 with an auction result of GBP 7,637.50 (€ 12,106.38).

Die Arbeit Near Streatley Hills-on-Thames von Theodore Hines wurde im Oktober 2005 in der Auktion British and Continental Pictures bei Christies in London versteigert.
