This artwork by Theo Wolvecamp achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2010. In the Post-War and Contemporary Art auction, the work without title sold for EUR 27,400.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 15,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Theo Wolvecamp; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot without title sold at auction in December 2006 with the realized price of EUR 33,600.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 83 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Theo Wolvecamp erzielte im November 2010 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für EUR 27.400,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 15.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Theo Wolvecamp; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Dezember 2006 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 33.600,00.
