A top price for Theo Wolvecamp - as previously expected
In December 2006 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Twentieth Century Commemorative Sale, which included this untitled work by Theo Wolvecamp. It changed hands for a price of EUR 33,600.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, this work without title is the most expensive artwork by Theo Wolvecamp that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Dezember 2006 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Twentieth Century Commemorative Sale durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Theo Wolvecamp zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 33.600,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 25.000,00 – 35.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist dieses Werk ohne Titel das teuerste Kunstwerk von Theo Wolvecamp, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
