Auction result well in line with expectations
The work 'La place Sainte-Geneviève' by Théo Tobiasse was sold in the British and European Art auction at Bonhams in London in July this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 2,176.00 (€ 2,538.73) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Théo Tobiasse achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Joueur De Jazz Et La Vache Bleue in December 2012 with an auction result of EUR 60,750.00.

Die Arbeit 'La place Sainte-Geneviève' von Théo Tobiasse wurde im Juli diesen Jahres in der Auktion British and European Art bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 2.176,00 (€ 2.538,73) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
