This artwork by Théo Tobiasse achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in September this year. In the British and European Art Online auction, the work 'Un bâteau sous un cheval' sold for GBP 3,520.00 (€ 3,520.00) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Théo Tobiasse achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Joueur De Jazz Et La Vache Bleue in December 2012 with an auction result of EUR 60,750.00.
