Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Seed No. 1 by Thavorn Ko-Udomvit was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2006. The price achieved of HKD 26,400.00 (€ 2,651.73) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 22,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Thavorn Ko-Udomvit have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Life...Still Life No.2 in April 2013 with an auction result of HKD 162,500.00 (€ 15,906.93).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Seed No. 1 von Thavorn Ko-Udomvit kam im Mai 2006 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 26.400,00 (€ 2.651,73) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 22.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Thavorn Ko-Udomvit auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Life...Still Life No.2 im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 162.500,00 (€ 15.906,93).
