Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Ladder of weaving by Thavorn Ko-Udomvit was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2007. The price achieved of HKD 31,200.00 (€ 2,970.88) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 26,000.00 – 40,000.00. Admittedly, works by Thavorn Ko-Udomvit have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Life...Still Life No.2 in April 2013 with an auction result of HKD 162,500.00 (€ 15,906.93).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Ladder of weaving von Thavorn Ko-Udomvit wurde im Mai 2007 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 31.200,00 (€ 2.970,88) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 26.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Thavorn Ko-Udomvit auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Life...Still Life No.2 im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 162.500,00 (€ 15.906,93).
