Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Morula III by Terry Winters was sold in the Prints & Photographs auction at Bonhams in Skinner Boston in January 2024. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 4,352.00 (€ 3,803.53) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Terry Winters achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Graphic Primitives 1 in May 2007 with an auction result of USD 240,000.00 (€ 178,398.87).
