This artwork by Terry Rodgers achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in September 2012. In the Property of the Scheringa Museum of Realist Art auction, the work without title sold for EUR 1,250.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Terry Rodgers achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Variable Frequencies of Restraint in December 2021 with an auction result of EUR 106,250.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Terry Rodgers erzielte im September 2012 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Property of the Scheringa Museum of Realist Art wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für EUR 1.250,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 600,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Terry Rodgers erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Variable Frequencies of Restraint im Dezember 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 106.250,00.
