Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2012 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Property of the Scheringa Museum of Realist Art, which included the work And then there were none by Terry Rodgers. The price achieved of EUR 13,750.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 12,000.00 – 16,000.00. Admittedly, works by Terry Rodgers have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Variable Frequencies of Restraint in December 2021 with an auction result of EUR 106,250.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2012 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Property of the Scheringa Museum of Realist Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit And then there were none von Terry Rodgers zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 13.750,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 12.000,00 – 16.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Terry Rodgers auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Variable Frequencies of Restraint im Dezember 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 106.250,00.
