This artwork by Terry Richardson achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in London in May 2012. In the Photographs auction, the work Untitled (Model squirted with cow milk), Outtake from Sisley Campaign sold for GBP 4,375.00 (€ 5,451.06) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 2,500.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Terry Richardson; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Five works sold at auction in September 2017 with the realized price of USD 10,625.00 (€ 8,994.33).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 75 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Terry Richardson erzielte im Mai 2012 bei Phillips in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Photographs wurde die Arbeit Untitled (Model squirted with cow milk), Outtake from Sisley Campaign für GBP 4.375,00 (€ 5.451,06) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 2.500,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Terry Richardson; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Five works im September 2017 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 10.625,00 (€ 8.994,33).
