Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Peaches by Terry Richardson was sold in the SEX Theme Sale auction at Phillips in London in March 2010. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 3,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 4,000.00 (€ 4,490.91). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Terry Richardson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Five works, which sold at auction in September 2017 for USD 10,625.00 (€ 8,994.33).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Peaches von Terry Richardson wurde im März 2010 in der Auktion SEX Theme Sale bei Phillips in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 3.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 4.000,00 (€ 4.490,91) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Terry Richardson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Five works beobachtet, die im September 2017 für USD 10.625,00 (€ 8.994,33) versteigert wurde.
