Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Piazzetta at twilight unframed by Terrick Williams was sold in the British and European Art auction at Bonhams in London in March 2021. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 4,462.50 (€ 5,242.29) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Terrick Williams have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A street corner, Cassis, near Marseille in November 2017 with an auction result of GBP 35,000.00 (€ 39,730.21).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Piazzetta at twilight unframed von Terrick Williams wurde im März 2021 in der Auktion British and European Art bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 4.462,50 (€ 5.242,29) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
