In October this year Bonhams in London held the auction The Marine Sale, which included the work Sailing boats in a calm by Terrick Williams. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 2,432.00 (€ 2,792.61), 35% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Terrick Williams achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A street corner, Cassis, near Marseille in November 2017 with an auction result of GBP 35,000.00 (€ 39,730.21).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 35 % übertroffen
Im Oktober diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion The Marine Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sailing boats in a calm von Terrick Williams zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 2.432,00 (€ 2.792,61) und damit 35% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Terrick Williams erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A street corner, Cassis, near Marseille im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 35.000,00 (€ 39.730,21).
