Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Counter Spiral No. 7 by Tatsuo Miyajima was sold in the 20th Century & Contemporary Art (Afternoon Session) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2019. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 160,000.00 – 260,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 175,000.00 (€ 20,028.70) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tatsuo Miyajima achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work T.L. SAKURA in November 2010 with an auction result of HKD 2,900,000.00 (€ 286,529.61).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Counter Spiral No. 7 von Tatsuo Miyajima wurde im Mai 2019 in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art (Afternoon Session) bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 160.000,00 – 260.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 175.000,00 (€ 20.028,70) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tatsuo Miyajima erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit T.L. SAKURA im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.900.000,00 (€ 286.529,61).
