Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Tassos Missouras could be acquired at Christies in Amsterdam in September 2012 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Property of the Scheringa Museum of Realist Art auction, this work without title changed hands for EUR 1,062.50 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 1,500.00 – 2,500.00. Other works by Tassos Missouras have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in September 2012 by the work Anima at EUR 1,500.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Tassos Missouras konnte im September 2012 bei Christies in Amsterdam für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Property of the Scheringa Museum of Realist Art wechselte diese Arbeit ohne Titel für EUR 1.062,50 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 2.500,00. Andere Arbeiten von Tassos Missouras wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im September 2012 die Arbeit Anima mit EUR 1.500,00.
