Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Tassos Missouras could be acquired at Christies in Amsterdam in September 2012 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Property of the Scheringa Museum of Realist Art auction, the work Dream in a wallpaper landscape changed hands for EUR 1,250.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 1,500.00 – 2,500.00. Other works by Tassos Missouras have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in September 2012 by the work Anima at EUR 1,500.00.
