Auction result misses estimated price range
When this work without title by Tassos Missouras was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in September 2012, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 1,500.00 – 2,500.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 1,125.00. Other works by Tassos Missouras have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in September 2012 by the work Anima at EUR 1,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Tassos Missouras im September 2012 bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 2.500,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 1.125,00 den Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Tassos Missouras wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im September 2012 die Arbeit Anima mit EUR 1.500,00.
