Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Rosso segnale n. 9 (Red Signal n. 9) by Tano Festa was sold in the Post War and Contemporary Art Day Auction auction at Christies in London in October 2018. The price achieved of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 28,192.29) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tano Festa achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Via Veneto 2 in April 2016 with an auction result of EUR 517,800.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Rosso segnale n. 9 (Red Signal n. 9) von Tano Festa wurde im Oktober 2018 in der Auktion Post War and Contemporary Art Day Auction bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 25.000,00 (€ 28.192,29) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tano Festa erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Via Veneto 2 im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 517.800,00.
