Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Armadio con cielo by Tano Festa was sold in the Contemporary Art | Milan auction at Sothebys in Milan in May 2021. The price achieved of EUR 100,800.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Admittedly, works by Tano Festa have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Via Veneto 2 in April 2016 with an auction result of EUR 517,800.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Armadio con cielo von Tano Festa wurde im Mai 2021 in der Auktion Contemporary Art | Milan bei Sothebys in Mailand versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 100.800,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Tano Festa auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Via Veneto 2 im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 517.800,00.
