Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April last year Christies in Hong Kong held the auction No Regrets: 20/21 Art Online: All Originals, which included the work Otona ni Oyatsu-Omatsuri Bo-Banana (Snacks for adults. Festival stick banana (B)) by Taniguchi Natsuko. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 20,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 22,680.00 (€ 2,742.18). Admittedly, works by Taniguchi Natsuko have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Playing Children in May 2008 with an auction result of HKD 247,500.00 (€ 20,375.80).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im April letzten Jahres führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion No Regrets: 20/21 Art Online: All Originals durch, in der auch die Arbeit Otona ni Oyatsu-Omatsuri Bo-Banana (Snacks for adults. Festival stick banana (B)) von Taniguchi Natsuko zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 20.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 22.680,00 (€ 2.742,18) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Taniguchi Natsuko auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Playing Children im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 247.500,00 (€ 20.375,80).
