Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Village Beneath Autumn Mountain by Tang Yifen was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in September 2018. The price achieved of USD 10,000.00 (€ 8,604.37) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tang Yifen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Jiao Shan Landscape in May 2016 with an auction result of HKD 2,240,000.00 (€ 258,902.56).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Village Beneath Autumn Mountain von Tang Yifen kam im September 2018 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 8.604,37) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tang Yifen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Jiao Shan Landscape im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.240.000,00 (€ 258.902,56).
