Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2019 China Guardian in Hong Kong held the auction Important Collections of Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy from Asia, which included the work The Plum Blossom by Tang Yifen. The price achieved of HKD 47,200.00 (€ 5,355.61) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tang Yifen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Jiao Shan Landscape in May 2016 with an auction result of HKD 2,240,000.00 (€ 258,902.56).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2019 führte China Guardian in Hong Kong die Auktion Important Collections of Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy from Asia durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Plum Blossom von Tang Yifen zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 47.200,00 (€ 5.355,61) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tang Yifen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Jiao Shan Landscape im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.240.000,00 (€ 258.902,56).
