Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2019 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online, which included the work Plum Blossom Studio by Tang Yifen. The price achieved of HKD 23,750.00 (€ 2,754.56) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 18,000.00 – 28,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tang Yifen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Jiao Shan Landscape in May 2016 with an auction result of HKD 2,240,000.00 (€ 258,902.56).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2019 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Plum Blossom Studio von Tang Yifen zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 23.750,00 (€ 2.754,56) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 18.000,00 – 28.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tang Yifen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Jiao Shan Landscape im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.240.000,00 (€ 258.902,56).
