Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2016 a collector was able to acquire the work Stone Trees 4 by Tang Guo for HKD 9,204.00 (€ 1,083.12). This price was achieved in the auction A Selection of Chen Wen Hsi Paintings and Modern and Contemporary Ink Art at POLY in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 10,000.00 – 20,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tang Guo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Stone Trees 1 in April 2016 with an auction result of HKD 137,500.00 (€ 15,491.43).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2016 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Stone Trees 4 von Tang Guo für HKD 9.204,00 (€ 1.083,12) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion A Selection of Chen Wen Hsi Paintings and Modern and Contemporary Ink Art bei POLY in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 10.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tang Guo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Stone Trees 1 im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 137.500,00 (€ 15.491,43).
