Auction result misses estimated price range
In March 2007 a collector was able to acquire the work Spring Picture 5 by Tang Guo for USD 2,400.00 (€ 1,794.53). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art Asia at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Tang Guo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Stone Trees 1 in April 2016 with an auction result of HKD 137,500.00 (€ 15,491.43).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März 2007 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Spring Picture 5 von Tang Guo für USD 2.400,00 (€ 1.794,53) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art Asia bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Tang Guo auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Stone Trees 1 im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 137.500,00 (€ 15.491,43).
