A top price for Tang Guo
In April 2016 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction The Origo Collection — Contemporary Ink Art, which included the work Stone Trees 1 by Tang Guo. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 137,500.00 (€ 15,491.43), 38% above the upper estimate. With this result, Stone Trees 1 is even the most expensive work of art by Tang Guo that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis für Tang Guo
Im April 2016 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion The Origo Collection — Contemporary Ink Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Stone Trees 1 von Tang Guo zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 137.500,00 (€ 15.491,43) und damit 38% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Stone Trees 1 sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Tang Guo, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
