The work Shades of Matters Unexplained by Talha Rathore was sold in the Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2008. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 106,250.00 (€ 8,747.19), 52% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Talha Rathore; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot without title sold at auction in May 2007 with the realized price of GBP 7,800.00 (€ 11,478.23).

Die Arbeit Shades of Matters Unexplained von Talha Rathore wurde im Mai 2008 in der Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 106.250,00 (€ 8.747,19) und damit 52% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Talha Rathore; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2007 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 7.800,00 (€ 11.478,23).
