This artwork by Tal R achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in London in March this year. In the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale auction, the work Adieu Interessant (orange) sold for GBP 203,200.00 (€ 231,179.25) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 80,000.00. This high result makes Adieu Interessant (orange) the most expensive artwork by Tal R that we have observed at auctions so far.
