Auction result misses estimated price range
In October this year a collector was able to acquire the work (i) LA FENÊTRE (THE WINDOW); (ii) LE NUAGE (THE CLOUD); & (iii) LA PROPAGATION – P (SPREAD - P) by Takesada Matsutani for HKD 2,772.00 (€ 335.22). This price was achieved in the auction No Regrets: 20th/21st Century Art Online at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of HKD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Takesada Matsutani achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Work 65-W in June this year with an auction result of GBP 214,200.00 (€ 249,291.92).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit (i) LA FENÊTRE (THE WINDOW); (ii) LE NUAGE (THE CLOUD); & (iii) LA PROPAGATION – P (SPREAD - P) von Takesada Matsutani für HKD 2.772,00 (€ 335,22) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion No Regrets: 20th/21st Century Art Online bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Takesada Matsutani erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Work 65-W im Juni diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 214.200,00 (€ 249.291,92).
