Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Tai Jingnong achieved an unexpectedly high price at China Guardian in October this year. In the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Poem In Running Script sold for HKD 50,400.00 (€ 6,094.93) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 25,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tai Jingnong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy in Official Script in June 2015 with an auction result of HKD 937,500.00 (€ 108,425.23).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Tai Jingnong erzielte im Oktober diesen Jahres bei China Guardian einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Poem In Running Script für HKD 50.400,00 (€ 6.094,93) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 25.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tai Jingnong erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy in Official Script im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 937.500,00 (€ 108.425,23).
