Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Calligraphy by Tai Jingnong was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in December this year. It changed hands for a price of HKD 35,280.00 (€ 4,082.30) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 20,000.00 – 40,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tai Jingnong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy in Official Script in June 2015 with an auction result of HKD 937,500.00 (€ 108,425.23).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy von Tai Jingnong kam im Dezember diesen Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 35.280,00 (€ 4.082,30) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 20.000,00 – 40.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tai Jingnong erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy in Official Script im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 937.500,00 (€ 108.425,23).
