This price was achieved in the auction Fine Chinese Modern Paintings at Christies in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 90,000.00 many times over. This high result makes Calligraphy in Official Script the most expensive artwork by Tai Jingnong that we have observed at auctions so far.
