Auction result well in line with expectations
In April last year Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings, which included the work Plum Blossoms by Tai Jingnong. The price achieved of HKD 88,200.00 (€ 10,664.02) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 70,000.00 – 140,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tai Jingnong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy in Official Script in June 2015 with an auction result of HKD 937,500.00 (€ 108,425.23).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April letzten Jahres führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Plum Blossoms von Tai Jingnong zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 88.200,00 (€ 10.664,02) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 70.000,00 – 140.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tai Jingnong erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy in Official Script im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 937.500,00 (€ 108.425,23).
