A top price for Tai Hoi Ying - as previously expected
The work Windows by Tai Hoi Ying was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2010. The auction ended at the price of HKD 300,000.00 (€ 27,853.75), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of HKD 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Windows is the most expensive artwork by Tai Hoi Ying that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Windows von Tai Hoi Ying kam im Oktober 2010 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 300.000,00 (€ 27.853,75) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 200.000,00 – 300.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Windows das teuerste Kunstwerk von Tai Hoi Ying, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
