Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tahia Halim achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Farhat Al Nuba (The Happiness of Nubia) in March 2015 with an auction result of USD 749,000.00 (€ 697,328.00).

Die Arbeit Eid al-adha von Tahia Halim kam im November 2019 bei Bukowski in Stockholm zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von SEK 210.000,00 (€ 19.896,54) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 68%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tahia Halim erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Farhat Al Nuba (The Happiness of Nubia) im März 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 749.000,00 (€ 697.328,00).
