This artwork by Terrence Harold Robsjohn-Gibbings achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in March 2016. In the Made in Britain auction, the work Three Armchairs sold for GBP 6,875.00 (€ 8,680.37) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Terrence Harold Robsjohn-Gibbings have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Rare large "Mesa" coffee table in December 2006 with an auction result of USD 54,000.00 (€ 40,918.39).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Terrence Harold Robsjohn-Gibbings erzielte im März 2016 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Made in Britain wurde die Arbeit Three Armchairs für GBP 6.875,00 (€ 8.680,37) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Terrence Harold Robsjohn-Gibbings auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Rare large "Mesa" coffee table im Dezember 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 54.000,00 (€ 40.918,39).
