Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work C.L.018 by Szabolcs Bozó was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in December last year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of HKD 200,000.00 – 400,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for HKD 94,500.00 (€ 11,324.45). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Szabolcs Bozó achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in May last year with an auction result of HKD 1,386,000.00 (€ 164,547.95).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit C.L.018 von Szabolcs Bozó im Dezember letzten Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 200.000,00 – 400.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für HKD 94.500,00 (€ 11.324,45) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Szabolcs Bozó erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.386.000,00 (€ 164.547,95).
