The work Cuddly Painting (yellow), 1995 by Sylvie Fleury was sold in the Modern & Contemporary Auction auction at Sothebys in Zurich in June this year. The »bidding war« ended at CHF 3,780 (€ 3,781), 26% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sylvie Fleury achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work in May 2017 with an auction result of USD 162,500 (€ 144,624).

Die Arbeit Cuddly Painting (yellow), 1995 von Sylvie Fleury wurde im Juni diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern & Contemporary Auction bei Sothebys in Zürich versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von CHF 3.780 (€ 3.781) und damit 26% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sylvie Fleury erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit im Mai 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 162.500 (€ 144.624).
