A top price for Sylvain Vigny - as previously expected
The work Jeune Fille by Sylvain Vigny was auctioned at Sothebys in Olympia in March 2007. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 2,160.00 (€ 3,179.27) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Jeune Fille is the most expensive artwork by Sylvain Vigny that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Jeune Fille von Sylvain Vigny kam im März 2007 bei Sothebys in Olympia zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 2.160,00 (€ 3.179,27) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Jeune Fille das teuerste Kunstwerk von Sylvain Vigny, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
