Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work "Konstruktion I" by Sven Jonson was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in May last year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 400,000.00 – 500,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 350,000.00 (€ 33,398.56). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Sven Jonson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work "Vit urna/No.8", which sold at auction in November 2020 for SEK 1,100,000.00 (€ 107,532.64).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit "Konstruktion I" von Sven Jonson im Mai letzten Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 400.000,00 – 500.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 350.000,00 (€ 33.398,56) den Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Sven Jonson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit "Vit urna/No.8" beobachtet, die im November 2020 für SEK 1.100.000,00 (€ 107.532,64) versteigert wurde.
