Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Suzanne Eisendieck could be acquired at Christies in New York in July 2016 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Living With Art auction, the work Les Sablettes à Menton changed hands for USD 2,250.00 (€ 2,014.68) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Admittedly, works by Suzanne Eisendieck have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Restaurant Au Port De St. Jean in March 2007 with an auction result of GBP 13,200.00 (€ 19,428.89).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Suzanne Eisendieck konnte im Juli 2016 bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Living With Art wechselte die Arbeit Les Sablettes à Menton für USD 2.250,00 (€ 2.014,68) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.500,00 – 3.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Suzanne Eisendieck auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Restaurant Au Port De St. Jean im März 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 13.200,00 (€ 19.428,89).
