Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Susan Ryder could be acquired at Christies in London in October 2003 for an unexpectedly low price. In the At Home-British and Continental Pictures and Works on Paper auction, the work The study changed hands for GBP 587.50 (€ 858.10) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 600.00 – 800.00. Admittedly, works by Susan Ryder have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Cupid Lamp in August 2007 with an auction result of GBP 4,560.00 (€ 6,740.88).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Susan Ryder konnte im Oktober 2003 bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion At Home-British and Continental Pictures and Works on Paper wechselte die Arbeit The study für GBP 587,50 (€ 858,10) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 600,00 – 800,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Susan Ryder auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Cupid Lamp im August 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 4.560,00 (€ 6.740,88).
