The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,657.50 (€ 1,943.76), 38% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Susan Ryder - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Cupid Lamp, which sold at auction in August 2007 for GBP 4,560.00 (€ 6,740.88).

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 1.657,50 (€ 1.943,76) und damit 38% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Susan Ryder mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Cupid Lamp beobachtet, die im August 2007 für GBP 4.560,00 (€ 6.740,88) versteigert wurde.
