In August 2008 Christies in London held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work The dining room by Susan Ryder. The result of GBP 1,000.00 (€ 1,240.03) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Susan Ryder have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Cupid Lamp in August 2007 with an auction result of GBP 4,560.00 (€ 6,740.88).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im August 2008 führte Christies in London die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit The dining room von Susan Ryder zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 1.000,00 (€ 1.240,03) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Susan Ryder auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Cupid Lamp im August 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 4.560,00 (€ 6.740,88).
