Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Table and chairs in the shade by Susan Ryder was auctioned at Christies in London in October 2008. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,625.00 (€ 2,071.29). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Susan Ryder - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Cupid Lamp, which sold at auction in August 2007 for GBP 4,560.00 (€ 6,740.88).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Table and chairs in the shade von Susan Ryder kam im Oktober 2008 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.625,00 (€ 2.071,29) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Susan Ryder mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Cupid Lamp beobachtet, die im August 2007 für GBP 4.560,00 (€ 6.740,88) versteigert wurde.
