In the The Lahiri Collection: Indian and Himalayan Art, Ancient and Modern auction, the work Girl And Bird changed hands for USD 1,875.00 (€ 1,646.18) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Other works by Sunil Madhav Sen have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in March 2016 by the work A Man With A Drum at USD 2,750.00 (€ 2,414.40).
