Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2018 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online, which included the work Seven-Character Calligraphic Couplet in Running Script by Sun Xingge. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 18,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 18,750.00 (€ 2,048.52). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sun Xingge achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Plants in May 2014 with an auction result of HKD 375,000.00 (€ 35,465.54).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2018 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Seven-Character Calligraphic Couplet in Running Script von Sun Xingge zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 18.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 18.750,00 (€ 2.048,52) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sun Xingge erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Plants im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 375.000,00 (€ 35.465,54).
