This artwork by Sun Xingge achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2012. In the Fine Chinese Modern Paintings auction, the work Mount Lu sold for HKD 325,000.00 (€ 33,856.36) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 180,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Sun Xingge; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Plants sold at auction in May 2014 with the realized price of HKD 375,000.00 (€ 35,465.54).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Sun Xingge erzielte im Mai 2012 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings wurde die Arbeit Mount Lu für HKD 325.000,00 (€ 33.856,36) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 180.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Sun Xingge; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Plants im Mai 2014 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 375.000,00 (€ 35.465,54).
